Styling a foyer is one of the most important rooms in the home. I have said this numerous times. This Spring I am working with fun clients and this is one of their rooms to style. Last Spring we painted the entire interior of their new house and recently they contacted me to help with the finishing touches. To take it from feeling like a house to a home.
I have said many times how important I feel the foyers are. They are the initial impressions of the home for anyone coming in or simply stopping by. Many times people don’t make it past the foyer. You know what I mean, you are hosting a playdate and moms stop at the door and don’t go farther. You can get an idea of the style and personalities of the home from simply stepping into the foyer.
So, in this home we have 2 spots / walls that we can add furnishings and accessories. One wall for more storage items and the other wall more for show and style.
I will provide my clients with up to 3 design board options, but here is option #1.
