We have all seen them, adorable lifesize wood growth charts. I was gifted one when my little Lucy was born for her room and I love it! I have used it as it was intended, to mark the growth of my little girl. Sadly, my boys are older and this concept didn’t “exist” 13 years ago. So they have the old school growth chart, marked on our kitchen door trim. “Sad” because I can’t take it with me if we were to move, well, maybe I can by ripping it out. YUP, see those names? Those are not my kids. Those are their friends. My biggest regret is not starting this sooner. Every friend that comes over to hang out, this is their sign in book. A memory book if you will. I hope that one day, when they are all home from college break and hanging out downstairs, they will see their old messages. I will definitley be doing a follow-up to this post in a year or so, lets see how this wood growth chart fills up!
