Baby Shower Gift Bags

March 21, 2013 Entertaining, Lifestyle

Last week I co-hosted a baby shower. Love those!! Always fun to be reminded how perfect women really are. No kidding, that we create these amazing little people that come into this world. To be in the presence of someone preparing for this miracle is an honor.

Now, many of us feel overwhelmed. Kids, school, work don’t help in the presence of putting together a baby shower. That is why it is nice to co-host and share the duties. Since the great event would take place at my humbled abode, I took care of invitations that would jump start the color theme, as well as, The Goodie Bag. I am a big fan of Goodie Bags for adults 🙂

Here are some quick ways make a baby shower happen without stressing out.

The mommy of honor told me she was having a salmon pink theme with grayish/white in the room. LOVE! I headed over to our local Paper-source store (where I go for all my paper needs). I found these simple modern grey with salmon and chartreuse invitations.

Before starting my business I use to have time to make my own invitations; however, sadly, that doesn’t happen anymore. At least it wasn’t an Evite. If you are hosting a smaller affair go with the old school invitations instead of electronic. Of course, if the event is large, I don’t and don’t expect any mom these days to make 25-50 invitations from scratch.

But that is why The Paper Source was invented. (click link to visit their website).

All I had to do was purchase them and then print them out via my easy peasy wireless printer. Presto.

Also on the To-Do list was the Goodie Bags. Now, you don’t always have to give adults goodie bags, but it is a nice and easy way to say “Thanks for coming!!” What would be any event without guests! So thank them for showing up.

I am not a fan of those baby shower gifts, like the baby bottle shaped candy or hard candy coated chocolates. No, no and no!! Why not give the women that come something useful yet stylish. I found these great magnetic notepads, with adorable pens (that I know keep in my purse) and desktop paperclip holders.

    Hello friends,

A baby shower gift bag is something wonderful that all the guests can take home and enjoy after the party is over. It is a great idea to have little gift bags for everyone who has attended the event. Thanks a lot….
