Holiday Card Organizer

December 8, 2016 Holidays

how to display your holiday cards, holiday card organizer www.homewithkeki.com #holidays #organization

We all get them, sometimes we get them from people we don’t know, sometimes they take up so much space you don’t know what to do with it. I don’t know about you, but, I always had trouble deciding where to display them in my home. Then I realized, I just don’t like to display them. It isn’t my style. One day I saw this genius idea and I have been doing it for the last 5 years.

As the cards arrive, I make hole punch the upper left corner and add it to a key ring. I place our own holiday picture for that year on top, as the “cover page,” and then all the rest. I add a little ribbon, you know, to make it pretty. Then, I place them on the dining room table or coffee table during our Christmas Eve dinner. Why? Cause you know we all truly do enjoy looking at other peoples photos, and my family and friends can flip through them, see how our friends and family have grown and changed throughout the years. And some of these photos are just downright funny so it’s good entertainment at the table. The last 5 years of flip cards are already out sitting on the family room table and my kids can’t stop flipping through them.

    What a wonderful idea!
I love saving cards and napkins and all sorts of memories, but they are never organised.

    So thanks for sharing!

This looks beautiful! I am so behind with the decorations this year.

Loving your blog! Lots of love,

I do this too! I saw it on Pinterest and thought, I COULD DO THIS! LOL, I love keeping my cards. My husband and I have a deal, though, I can only keep 5 sets. YIKES.

This is such a brilliant idea. I've seen it before, but still haven't done it for myself. I really should get on that!
    Happy Holidays!

Love this idea, I hate throwing away all my Christmas cards at the end of the season. This would be so fun!

This is a really clever idea actually. I really need to figure out how to organize my cards a little bit better given I don't have any sort of organization at the moment! xx Adaleta Avdic

This is such an amazing idea. I have been getting more and more cards each year as we send them out and making new friends and such. I like this better than taping them to the back of the door. -Breyona Sharpnack

This is a genius idea! I always have this huge stack that gets knocked over all the time. I am totally stealing your idea this year!

Normally my cards get stuffed into a box of memories. This however is a much better idea, clearly I need a holiday card organizer!

I've seen a ton of different things done with Holiday cards but this has to be my favorite. This way you can leave it as a coffee table "book"

We start out by taping them to the front door in a tree shape. But before Christmas there are cards everywhere, so this is perfect.
