This past weekend I attended the amazing Create & Cultivate conference in my backyard-Chicago. It was a day full of beauty, inspiration, motivation, networking and fun! You are never too smart or too old to stop learning and for that reason I am always attending conferences or seminars, but this one really was A MAZE ING!!

The opening speaker said it best, Emily Greener of I Am That Girl, that as women we tend to be our worst enemies, to put ourselves and each other down. We are suffering from an epidemic of self doubt and if we just open up to ourselves and each other, get below the surface, discover our inner styles, we can transform all that is self doubt.

As I sort through my 19 pages of notes, yes 19, I thought I pick out some key phrases that really got me going, got me rejuvenated and inspired.

2. “What are you really selling?” as Sonali Lamba of BrideSide said, “We are not selling bridesmaid dresses, but selling the piece of mind for the bride…that’s how my shop is different.”
3. Get The Help. Find someone that does what you don’t do.
4. People invest in People. Build your business on the things that money can’t buy.
5. WORK TOGETHER: When the tide rises we all float.
Of course there were some amazing go-to tips to take home for all digital influencers and small business owners that I am already trying to do and/or learn how to implement, but I thought my top 5 inspirational quotes would get you all excited for the next Create & Cultivate!!
