Foyer Table Styling

January 5, 2017 Interiors, My Home

After 10 years in our home it was time to change out the entire foyer. I mean everything from flooring, to paint, banister and accessories. I have had the estate sale refurbished mirror for 9.5 years and I actually liked it. What is there not to like about paying for a $5 mirror. I did strip, sand, and re-painted it to a vintage gold/black. You can check out that entire post from here.  It has served it’s purpose and I truly still love it. I love that it is old and if it could tell the stories it has seen. Which if you know me at all, is what I love, old stories. I could live on these. Well, I placed the mirror aside, you know, for the next house (wink wink) and put my new lovely mirror up. I was hesitant, nervous, and then it went up and I melted.
Okay, the fact that is a faux bamboo frame helped, but, it was also perfection. We have all heard of Serena & Lily  and what is there not to love about their decor products. Some of my top favorites that I have always had my eye on:
White Faux Bamboo Mirror // Beaded Chandelier // Kyoto Blue Pillow // Woven Baskets // Toile Pillow // White Pouf // Marble and Brass Side Table // Coral Bowl

So, anything that is faux bamboo will make the list. When they reached out and asked if I would have a space for their Ojai Mirror I squealed with joy (literally-like thank goodness I wasn’t in a coffee shop). I knew exactly where it would go. In our newly refinished entrance. Ugh, but now, I need a new console table. NO joke, looks like a little DIY project is up my sleeve to update this table so that the mirror has an equally beautiful companion.

I like the idea of bouncing the bad vibes! But I don't have a wall to reflect… perhaps I can have one to the side and serve the same purpose?

I've never heard that having a mirror in your entryway will bounce off evil vibes! That's really interesting. I really do love that mirror, it is simply gorgeous.

Love this. It's so simple but has everything you need. This is definitely something I'll be bookmarking since we're moving soon.

This is a gorgeous entry way! I love having a mirror by the door so you can do one last check that you don't look a hot mess (haha mom life!) That mirror is fabulous and I love your little details too!

I have total entryway envy! I love the idea of having a mirror in the front hall… otherwise I'm just using the mirrors in my car to check my makeup for smudges, etc.

I wished we had an entry way! Heck I wished we had enough space to create even the slightest of spaces for an entry way. I love that mirror!

I love it. Unfortunately I live in a minihome & walk directly into the kitchen 🙁 Although there is a wall as soon as we walk in (little wall dividing the kitchen & the livingroom) & i'm hoping to get something set up there to make it look entryway-ish. I love the books & the color combination

Love it! I have foyer envy! Mine is too tiny to accommodate a table. I keep dreaming of a way to get one in there!

I wish I had more space in my hallway to play with! I would definitely place a table and a mirror there! I still consider getting some of the decor items you mentioned for my living room! Especially the plant decor!
