Last week when I began decorating my home for Fall, I was excited to have my first PSL (yes, I know, my first), turn off the air conditioning and feel the Fall breeze. It made the decorating for my Fall Home Tour easy, and, truthfully, I was excited for the weather change. Flash forward a week to this morning and we are hitting 90 degrees! How is this possible? I am so glad I kept my real pumpkins inside, they would be melting. Anyway, there is so much going on in the world this past month, from hurricanes, to attacks in Europe, and even here. That I decided to forego my all white/neutral burlap Fall mantel and add color! From shades of blue to pops of green and orange, hello FALL.
Fall Home Tour
I needed some new Fall pillows and aritificial pumpkins, so when Kirklands told me that they were opening up 3 stores in the Chicagoland area, I knew I had a new place to shop. ALL, I mean all, my Fall pillows are from Kirklands and they are simply perfect. Also, their faux pumpkins in shades of blue and gold fit perfectly on my mantel and entryway table.
